Marines from the Detachment provided Honor Guards and assisted with the burial service for fellow Marine Louis Thurau who passed away on 9 March 2006.
Lou was very active in the Detachment and had a great love for the Corps and the Detachment. He will be missed and we know that the streets of Heaven are being guarded by another fine U.S. Marine. Semper Fidelis Lou.
