On 11 February 2006, members of the Stanley L. Moore Detachment had the pleasure of presenting a plaque from the Marine Corps League to Donald Schell IV on the occasion of his reaching the rank of Eagle Scout, BSA. Members that were present were Alfred Kanigowski, Commandant, Ken Murray, Past Commandant, Bob Williams, Chaplain and David Wojta, Jr Vice Commandant. The ceremony was held in Oxford, MI at the American Legion Post and was well attended by their membership.
